Appalachian Swing Dance Club

Welcome to the Appalachian Swing Dance Club website!

Our Club is devoted to the social art of Swing Dancing. From day one we'll teach you the basics: East Coast, Lindy Hop, and Charleston. As you polish those steps you'll take on moves and develop your own dance styling. We travel to surrounding (or far away) cities for concerts and workshops, dance locally, and plan social dances and events.

We meet Mondays at 8:30pm in the Great Hall at the LLC for lessons and Thursdays same time and place for social dancing and anything you didn't quite get Monday.

Dress for activity (ladies be wary of high heels or anything that has a tendency to ride up) and wear sneakers or leather soled shoes with socks. Sandals aren't going to cut it lest you plan to dance in socks.
